I am a candidate for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Visionaries of the Year campaign. I am asking for your support to help LLS in its efforts to find cures for blood cancers and ensure access to treatments for blood cancer patients.

When our five year old son was diagnosed with a rare form of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, our lives were forever changed. Drew began aggressive chemotherapy treatments right away and achieved remission within 30 days. I know that without the help of people like you donating funds to organizations like LLS, Drew would not be here today. In honor of Drew and so many others who have been touched by cancer, I am on a mission to raise $552,000 for LLS by June 3, and I cannot do it with your help!

Last year, Kiersten ran in her brother’s honor for the LLS Student Visionaries of the Year campaign in Northern Virginia. Not only did she win, she broke records, raising just 133K in six short weeks. With the encouragement of my entire family, mostly Kiersten, I am proud to say that I have been nominated to carry on this fundraising campaign for LLS in 2023. I have committed myself to this campaign to ensure that there will be a cure, not someday, but today.
