About this campaign

This is not a fundraiser, and we do NOT want to make any money from this, so we’ve kept the prices of the shirts as low as we can. Any DigDUG member or Brown student who wants a shirt but needs a bit of help with the cost, please let us know – just send an email to jiaaw@brown.edu. We want everyone to have a shirt! Students, families, friends, alums, and fans of JIAAW are all invited to order a shirt – or two! Or three! Order now to make sure you can wear it proudly during your 2025 Summer Fieldwork Season! Orders will be accepted through Friday, March 21st to Wednesday, April 9th. Expected Delivery: April 25th.

This winning t-shirt design was the product of a contest organized by the DigDUG who challenged members of the Brown community to come up with a new design for the summer of 2025! The DigDUG is a group of students interested in archaeology at Brown University’s Joukowsky Institute for Archaeology and the Ancient World. Thank you to Isabella Peterson '25 for a great design! The artwork features a mole, taking a break from a busy day of digging, and proudly wearing a t-shirt with the Joukowsky Institute’s wreath logo – which is based on an ancient stone wreath found in Petra, Jordan by Martha Joukowsky herself!
