Taking Back Orange is a silent protest where from home you can demonstrate resistance against Trump and his cabinet. We are asking participants to change their porch light to orange or place an orange light in your window. The orange light is to signal our solidarity in a peaceful way and protest against Trump and his actions. Many people may now have a negative view towards the color orange as it has been used to describe Trump's features, however the color orange represents and stands for unity. It has been used as color scheme's in Civil Wars to represent Solidarity. We ask the lights to stay until we are no longer divided, or Trump is out of office! The solidarity of our lights means we believe in but not limited to: Black Lives Matter, Islam is Love, Freedom of Speech, Media Lies are not "alternative facts," No more Oil Wars, Water is Life, No DAPL, Flint Water Crisis and Detroit Water Shut offs should be Priority, Science is Real, Every Human is Legal, Women's Rights Are Human Rights, Love is Love, and kindness is everything
