About this campaign
The Detroit Dark Angels are a full contact, full pads, 11 on 11 football team that competes in the Women's Football Alliance among 50+ plus teams across the U.S. We are a 501(c)(3) non profit organization that operates off of fundraising, donations, and player fees. With 30+ players, it can be a struggle to cover all expenses through out the season. By purchasing a product you can help a individual player cover their fees (by specifying players name) as well as alleviate offset costs for the entire team. Your contribution will help us move forward in this 2017 season as we represent Detroit and women across the world in this male dominated sport.
The Detroit Dark Angels are a tackle women’s football team that plays in the WFA Football League. The women’s football season runs from April – August. Each team plays 8 regular season games, 4 home and 4 away. Detroit has a rich history of women’s football and the Detroit Dark Angels continues to uphold that tradition as it grows.
The women who play on the team are 18- 40 year olds from throughout the Metro-Detroit area and Canada. These women are students, teachers, military, police officers, trainers, designers etc. and all live and work in the communities around you. This is a great opportunity to support an up-and-coming women's sports program in Detroit.
