About this campaign

Eugene Weekly is coming back from a devastating embezzlement thanks to the support of our readers.

The Weekly has been a community mainstay since 1982, providing award-winning reporting, a forum for opinions, enterprising coverage of arts and entertainment, and our beloved "What's Happening" calendar of things to do. Our work takes time, talent and resources and is always free to readers in print and online.
Buy a red hoodie and help EW get back in the black!

Read about the embezzlement here and check out our award winning journalism at EugeneWeekly.com.

I’ve enjoyed reading the Eugene Weekly since 2001. I even met a boyfriend from the personal ads that used to be in the back of the paper. Eugene has changed a lot in the past 2 decades, but we still have the Weekly, thankfully!

I have been in Eugene less than a year. I have no other way of being on the up and up regarding events. I enjoy hold a paper in my hand vs reading online. I enjoy reading......without people to write. I have more but not enough characters :)

Thanks for helping me stay connected to my hometown while living 1000 miles away. I’m so proud of you digging in to the hard work of surviving this trauma and betrayal. And so glad to see the love that has poured out for you and journalism.
