Childhood Cancer Awareness Fundraiser

Our daughter Sydney had swollen lymph nodes last summer and after weeks of doctors visits and tests, she was diagnosed with a form of Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma in August. She underwent intensive chemotherapy at Memorial Sloan Kettering in Manhattan over the course of 5 months and is currently in remission. Sydney and her Mom stayed at the Ronald McDonald House in Manhattan during her weeks of chemotherapy. The house provided us with a place to stay only blocks away from Memorial Sloan Kettering and supplied dinners every night as well as countless events for the kids- such as arts and crafts, musical performances and visits from Santa like in the picture shown below. Donations to the Ronald McDonald House allow families to stay together while their children are treated at local hospitals.
 During her treatment she was drawing one day to pass the timeand traced her own hand and wrote "cure", "hope", "love", "positivity" and "strength" in the five fingers of her hand. She called her drawing the "five fingers of fighting cancer".
 We took her drawing and recreated it todesign this t-shirt. Sydneybelieves thatwith hope, love, strength and positivity, we can find a cure. All together we fight and together we can crush cancer. Please support her booster and help make that happen!
