About this campaign

Your purchase of this t-shirt helps us provide our CIS tournaments for FREE and will help us send our students to city, state, and regional events at no cost to the students!

In all five boroughs of New York City, Chess in the Schools operates a variety of programs, including in-class instruction, after-school clubs, weekend chess tournaments, and a college prep program. Since 1986, Chess in the Schools has been a positive influence for over 500,000 lower income students.

Chess- with all of its academic and community building benefits- is the tool we use to motivate and inspire under-served students.

I attended the Sept. Level 1 TTI. Since then, I implemented a successful chess program in the Whitestone Academy in NYC. I requested these shirts that day but they were unavailable at the time. I would be so happy to wear them in class.
