Champion Center needs your support for signage, updates and more!

Note from myself, Elena Soto: I am a mother of two boys first, I am a certified fitness instructor second. I like to call myself a "stay-at-home mom that just happens to own a business." :-) I teach approximately 20 classes per week/6 days a week. God has blessed me with talent and passion and my purpose is to share it with each and every student that comes through my door. I have been teaching for over 11 years and during this time have become a local small business owner that poursmy heart & soul into each and every fitness classI teach and into each and every awesome student that attends my classes. However, sometimessharing a passionjust isn't enough. As large corporate gyms and fitness franchises take over the area, it is getting more difficult to compete with the big guys. I have never wanted to compete with gyms. I can't. I am not a gym. Champion Center is a place where everyone is welcome and encouraged to become more, do more and believe in possibility. It's a place where you're known by name, not a number. It's a place where friendships have been made. It's a "fitness home" to some that have been withme for years! At Champion CenterI havea great student base and the current studentsupport is greatly appreciated as thisallows me to keep business going on theinside, however, as hard as I've tried, there is never enough left over to work on the outside.So...I'm asking for your help. I want to be able to put signage on the outside of the buildingso that people know who we are and where we are and know I have not closed. I want to be able to purchase a new open sign that lights up so brightly, you just can't miss it. I want to be able to put up more ceiling fans to keep you feeling refreshed while working out. I want to be able to bring so much to the center to better us! No matter how many classes I teach, it depends solely on the students in class if this is all possible or not. Right now, it's not. Not because of anything I've done wrong or the students have done wrong, but because life happens and I've always said "as long as the students are in class, I'll be here". I have no plans of going anywhere, I love what I do and I know this is my purpose. I will continue to share my gift and push you all to be the very best you can be mentally, spiritually and physically. I know many times students need to take time off because of medical/physical reasons or financial reasons. Some have relocated, some have taken on jobs that no longer allow time for exercise. There are many factors but this does affect the center as well. Which then also, affects you. I'm a firm believer in making do with whatI have and what I've been given& blessed with and making it work. I'm also a firm believer in working hard for what you want and sharing with others. I am not looking for an easy way out, but a way to help Champion Center. A way to keep Champion Center going for you! Without some of these things the center will not grow. (We will not attract new faces. We will not gain new students.) If the center doesnot grow, we will not have these things. (Like I said, things are good where they are, but we have no way to improve and upgrade at this point.) So, I'm just reaching out and asking for support.
