This year, Komen has launched the MORE THAN PINK campaign... Wearing pink is nice, but it's gotten a little too common to draw the attention and make the difference it needs to, so... this campaign is about DOING pink--about asking how you are going to make a difference: ACT, DONATE, GET INVOLVED. This Komen initiative has set a goal to reduce breast cancer deaths by 50% in the next decade! An overwhelming portion of that can be done without ANY further scientific advances—that’s right. And that means it's all about you, us, all of us... spreading the word, talking about those uncomfortable subjects, getting those around us to get checked EARLY and OFTEN, and sharing our stories.
