#BeKindToElephants

My name is Julian Ruger and I am the Class of 2020 President at Debakey High school for Health Professions. I have always been an ardent lover of animals and the environment. This fundraiser was inspired by Ellen Degeneres’ campaign, #BeKindToElephants. It was her love and passion that resonated with ME and and propelled me into action to bring the fight into my school. Being informed and educated about the elephant crisis is amazing, but ultimately money is the greatest weapon to fight in this war. But above all I want this shirt to be a reminder to the unity we were able to create for a cause that has brought our school together. I want to thank Delilah Nguyen for creating such an amazing design and all of my student representatives Nithya Erabelli, Charmi Bhanushali, Deena Ali, and Amna Sidiq for all the support and love they have given to this amazing cause, this wouldn't be possible without them.
