About this campaign
The Central Sierra Snow Lab has operated since 1946 near the top of Donner Pass in California. We maintain some of the longest continuous weather and water records in the world with our record of yearly snowfall and max snow depth going all the way back to 1879!
The proceeds from this fundraiser will be used strictly for snow lab operations, including site maintenance, implementing new instruments and outreach programs, supporting our everyday science, and supporting students of all ages that come to visit or work at the snow lab.
