About this campaign

This fundraiser was created to help spread infertility awareness. Infertility affects 1 out of 8 people. This means that someone you know, love, work with, go to church with…suffers from infertility. Most are afraid of telling others of their struggle, but wish they had support to help them through a difficult journey.

As someone who personally is struggling with infertility, I created this shirt to help spread awareness. My hope is that when you buy a shirt you help spread hope and support to those struggling with infertility. It may even make their day brighter by seeing it. Let’s spread HOPE! We all could use a little!

All proceeds raised from this fundraiser will be used for our fertility treatments in HOPE to meet our little MIRACLE one day. Any money that is raised above the cost for fertility treatments will be donated to RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association, the leader in infertility awareness and support.

My name is Sarah and I am 1 in 8. I am one of those who sit next to you silently suffering from infertility. I’m the woman who looks across the room at a mother with black circles under her eyes from lack of sleep trying to soothe her fussy baby wishing I was in her shoes. Although my husband and I suffer from infertility we don’t let it define who we are. Our story has been a long and hard road for us. After being married for 5 years my husband and I decided to start a family. A year went by without seeing a “BIG FAT POSITIVE”. We decided to go to the doctor to find out answers why we were not getting pregnant. After running test we found that the odds of getting pregnant naturally were against us. This began the start of our infertility journey. After countless doctor visits, pills, shots, ultrasounds, and six failed IUIs, we are no closer today to having a baby than when we began this journey two years ago. With that being said our last resort has come down to doing IVF to achieve our dream of becoming parents. As many of you know IVF is not a cheap procedure. During National Infertility Awareness Week I began looking for a cute shirt to wear to spread awareness. There weren’t many options to choose from, so I decided to design a shirt that both men and women could proudly wear. At first I thought I would purchase the shirt for my husband and myself; however, I decided this project could not only help spread infertility awareness, but also help offset some of the cost for future IVF procedures. The quote on the back of the shirt says, “Where there is HOPE, there is FAITH. Where there is FAITH, MIRACLES happen.” For someone who struggles with infertility this quote cannot be any truer. It all starts with HOPE…
