Sankofa Achievement Center

The Sankofa Achievement Center envisions its organization as a place where every student will develop deep understanding of the knowledge and skills necessary to pursue higher education, obtain employment, contribute to the civic well-being of the community, and have the opportunity for a rewarding and fulfilling life where culture and diversity drives direction. We will make every effort to achieve academic success, not failure. We will collaborate with the public school systems and community partner and actively engage in community efforts to improve the academic conditions of each student. We will advocate with and on behalf of youth to raise awareness in the community about the achievement gap and the need for change initiatives. We will use positive affirmations to embody self-confidence, self-esteem, self-pride, intuitive motivation and the knowledge to strive for excellence in all that they do
