Fifty Shades Darker Inspired Shirts to Support Children Around the World
Celeste and Crissy met in the summer of 2014 at the Today Show and have reunited several times since. This summer they decided to work on a project that supported both the Fifty Shades of Grey community and helped children who can’t help themselves.
They bounced around a lot of ideas for different charities. After seeing JK Rowling speak about her charity, Lumos, and the devastating effects that orphanages can have on the children they are supposed to protect, they decided that this was an amazing opportunity to help children around the world.
Lumos is dedicated to ending the institutionalization of children and bringing them back to their families or community supported organizations where their likelihood of ending up in jail, addicted to drugs, or committing suicide are significantly lower.
They worked with Victoria from Ruffles and Restraints to create shirts to celebrate the release of Fifty Shades Darker in February. It combines the theme of the Masquerade Ball to support children and their love of Fifty Shades of Grey and the power that each of us has to change a life.
Purchasing these shirts is an opportunity to show your love of Fifty Shades Darker and to help children who can’t help themselves. The prices were set to allow for a small donation to Lumos for each item purchased. The more shirts that are ordered, the lower the production cost for the order, allowing a larger donation to Lumos.
There are three shirts available:
V-Neck for $25
Crew Neck for $25
Hoodie for $36
To thank the supporters of this endeavor, at the end of the campaign Crissy will give one supporter a signed picture of Jamie Dornan. You can see a copy of the signed picture at Latersbaby.net Celeste and Crissy may also host some additional giveaways and raffles related to this project, so please follow them on Twitter @50Latersbaby and @FiftyShadesPA to stay up to date.
