2016-17 CCDHS Science Club T-Shirt

These funds will go towards helping the members of science club travel to and compete in Science Olympiad and Science Bowl where we will defend our title as regional champions. The subject of the shirt, Maurice Hilleman, is the most prolific vaccinologist of all time. He and his teams developed vaccines for measles, mumps, hepatitis A, hepatitis B, chickenpox, meningitis, pneumonia and several others. Because of his vaccine work he is credited with saving more lives than any other human being in history; numbers that increase every year. He graduated from Custer County High in 1938, and from Montana State in 1941 before moving to the University of Chicago where he earned a doctorate.
